Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Neonatology Physician for its 54-bed Level IV NICU. The role offers daytime coverage with overnight call and opportunities to attend high‑risk deliveries alongside board-certified neonatologists.

You will teach pediatric residents, neonatal fellows, and mid-level providers, while participating in quality improvement initiatives and a regional network.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in neonatology or pediatric subspecialty.
• Medical degree and successful completion of ACGME or AOA Residency and Fellowship.
• MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey; CDS and DEA licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary clinical care for all neonates in Level IV NICU with daytime coverage and overnight call.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections; consult with obstetric service and Pediatric ED.
• Teach and oversee pediatric residents, neonatal fellows, and mid-level providers (NNP, PA, PNP).
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and Vermont Oxford Network participation.
