Job description

Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team in Grand Forks, ND.

1. Join a team with 3 Neonatologists and other subspecialties including Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatricians, and OB/GYNs, within a community of over 350 physicians and advanced practice providers.
2. Full-time employment with 200 shifts per year; schedule of 180 shifts/year with a flexible, at-home call schedule of 1:3.
3. Manage approximately 350-400 admissions and 60-70 air transports annually, with an average of 10-12 patients per day.
4. Work in a 16-bed Level IIIB NICU (expandable to 18 beds).
5. Procedures include lines, intubation, and infrequently, chest tubes. Equipment available: ventilator, oscillator, CPAP/Sipap. Voice dictation via Dragon, EMR system: Epic.
6. Compensation includes a generous package with benefits, relocation and immigration allowances, paid malpractice including tail coverage, and opportunities to teach at the University of North Dakota Medical School.
