Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Neonatology Physician for inpatient NICU coverage in Maryland. Shifts are 24 hours (12PM-12PM) with dates listed; start ASAP. Board-certified neonatologist with active Maryland license required, plus DEA CSR, ACLS, BLS, NALS, PALS, and at least 3 years of experience.

A credentialing timeframe under 30 days is typical. EMR used: Epic Bridges. Work setting is inpatient NICU with deliveries support for high-risk pregnancies; AMN handles travel, lodging, and malpractice

Qualifications

• Board-certified neonatologist for NICU inpatient care.
• Active DEA/CSR, ACLS, BLS, NALS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in neonatology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient NICU care in Level II unit.
• Assist with deliveries for high-risk pregnancies when applicable.

• Schedule: 24 Hour shift 12PM-12PM | October 7-12, October 27-November 1
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures: Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Assist with deliveries when there is a known high-risk pregnancy/delivery
• Credentialing timeframe: Less than 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic Bridges
• Certifications required: Board Certification, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)/Controlled Substance Registration certification (CSR), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 3 years of experience
• Licensure required: Maryland license
