Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Neonatology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Maryland. The role involves 24-hour shift coverage from 12 PM to 12 PM with dates in October and November as listed.

This inpatient setting requires Level II NICU experience, delivery assistance for high-risk pregnancies, and board-certified neonatology credentials along with required DEA/CSR, ACLS, BLS, NALS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neonatology physician with Maryland license.
• DEA/CSR, ACLS, BLS, NALS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of neonatology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level II NICU care for neonates as needed.
• Assist with deliveries in high-risk pregnancies when required.
• Respond to neonatal emergencies and provide resuscitation support.

This facility is seeking a Neonatology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24 Hour shift 12PM-12PM | October 7-12, October 27-November 1
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures:Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Assist with deliveries when there is a known high-risk pregnancy/delivery
• Credentialing timeframe:Less than 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):Epic Bridges
• Certifications required: Board Certification, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)/Controlled Substance Registration certification (CSR), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 3 years of experience
• Licensure required:Maryland license
