Job description

We are seeking a Locum Tenens NP - Neonatology in New York .

Specialty : Neonatology

Location : New York

Rate : $69 / hr - $71 / hr

Shift : 12 and 24-hour shifts

Start Date : May 28, 2025

End Date : TBD

• Responsibilities :

Provide coverage for a 16-bed NICU unit

• Attend C-sections and cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery
• Supervise RNs in the NICU and ancillary staff as needed
• Perform neonatal procedures including ventilation management (ETT, BiPAP / CPAP), chest tube insertion, exchange transfusions, UAC / UVC placement, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line insertions, and diagnostic / therapeutic taps
• EMR System : EPIC
• Support Staff : A neonatologist is present during the day and available on call at night

Requirements :

• Board Certified in Neonatology Required
• Active New York License Required
• Must have experience managing patients independently
