Job summary

The Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The appointee will provide clinical care primarily at the Doernbecher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with coverage at affiliated hospitals in Vancouver, WA and other OHSU sites.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Eligible for unrestricted Washington and Oregon medical licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care primarily at OHSU’s Doernbecher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and at affiliated hospitals in Vancouver, WA and other OHSU sites.
• Lead and participate in regional neonatology facilities and contribute to leadership/medical direction roles.
• Participate in faculty meetings and assist in division/department strategic planning and development.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research, education and publications as appropriate.
• Educate fellows, residents and medical students, providing feedback and evaluation within the Neonatology Fellowship program.
