Job summary

OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Department of Pulmonary Medicine seeks a clinician-scientist at the Assistant Professor level to provide inpatient and outpatient care, participate in teaching, and engage in research within a leading academic health center.

The role includes shared clinical service across wards and clinics, night and weekend on-call duties, and opportunities to contribute to clinical trials and translational research while mentoring trainees.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
• Oregon Medical License.
• DEA Certificate.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology (or eligible).
• Three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine fellowship completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical service across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and outreach clinics, with night and weekend on-call duties.
• Participate in educational activities for medical students and residents.
• Contribute to translational research and clinical trials as part of the division.
