Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. invites neonatologists to a Per Diem opportunity in Topeka, Kansas. The role features 24-hour shifts (8 in-house/16 on call) with an alternative 24-hour on-call option including ground transport when needed.

Coverage includes NICU Level III at Stormont Vail Medical Center and Level II at St Francis Health Center. Candidates must be board-certified and IMLC eligible or KS licensed, with at least 1 year of experience and the ability to maintain ongoing availability.

• Minimum of 1 year of neonatology experience.
• Ability to offer ongoing availability.

Job description

** Per Diem ** Opportunity for Neonatologists in Topeka, KS

• 24 Hour Shift- 8 hour inhouse, 16 hours on call
• Alternative Shift: 24 hour on call that can include ground transport requirement
• Ground transport criteria: Babies <28 weeks (220 0-7 weeks to 07 6/7 weeks), case by case HIE babies
• Coverage of NICU Level III at Stormont Vail Medical Cener
• Coverage of NICU Level II at St Francis Health Center

• Must be Board Certified
• Must be IMLC Eligible or have an Active KS License
• Minimum of 1 Year's Experience
• Ability to Offer Ongoing Availability

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
