Leadership Position with a Premier Neonatology Team Near Kansas City

Serve as Medical Director for the Topeka NICU at Stormont Vail Medical Center. This role comes with a $35,000 annual leadership stipend and provides the chance to guide a vital regional program serving rural families across Kansas. The Medical Director will maintain a full complement of core Neonatology clinical duties while also providing administrative and strategic leadership to support the growth and stability of the practice.

High-Acuity Practice With the Tools You Need

Work in a Level III, 36-bed NICU equipped to deliver advanced neonatal care, including:

  • High-Frequency Ventilation — manage complex respiratory cases with confidence
  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide — support infants with pulmonary hypertension
  • Total Body Cooling — provide neuroprotective therapy for HIE
  • aEEG — enhance neurological monitoring and decision-making

Average Daily Census of 25 at Stormont

Pediatric subspecialty support including cardiology, neurology general surgery, and endocrinology.

Manageable Schedule With Strong Infrastructure
  • Combination in-house 24-hour shifts and in-house/from home call that allows for schedule predictability and more time off!
