Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital (RWCH), is seeking Neonatologists to join our growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana on a per diem basis.

This role features a 7-on/7-off schedule with 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage and a collaborative model focused on quality care. The facility is a 34-bed Level III NICU with strong pediatric services and ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board certification in neonatology is required.
• Recent neonatologist experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care in a Level III NICU.
• Participate in newborn nursery rounds and transports.
• Collaborate with in-house NNPs and other clinicians.
