Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a per diem Neonatologist to join the team at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The 35-bed Level-III NICU provides comprehensive neonatal care with high-frequency ventilation and hypothermia therapy.

Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call, with NNP night coverage on 12-hour shifts. Subspecialty support includes Cardiology, Surgery and Ophthalmology, in collaboration with a 3-member MFM group.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Neonatology is required.
• Active South Carolina license is required.
• Recent NICU experience in a Level-III setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 35-bed, Level-III NICU with high-frequency ventilation and hypothermia therapy.
• Well baby rounding two weeks out of four weeks with Family Medicine Residency program.
• Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call; NNP night coverage on 12-hour pm shifts.
• Collaborate with Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and a 3-member MFM group.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to join our unit at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina

• The hospital has about 3400-3900 deliveries, 370-400 NICU admissions annually and runs a daily census of 25-29 babies
• In this position, you will have the opportunity to oversee a 35-bed, Level-III NICU, offering comprehensive neonatal care including high-frequency ventilation and hypothermia therapy.
• Well baby rounding 2 weeks out of 4 weeks – with Family Medicine Residency program
• Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call
• NNP night coverage – 12 hour pm shifts
