Job summary

Vanderbilt Health's NICU Physical Therapy team is seeking a Neonatal Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment for premature and high‑risk newborns in the Level IV NICU at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital.

You will collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, OTs, SLPs and families to support developmental outcomes, positioning, feeding readiness, discharge planning and transitions of care in a multidisciplinary, family‑centered model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current or eligible Tennessee Physical Therapy licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapist experience in pediatric, neonatal, or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to NICU and neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatologists, nurses, OTs, SLPs and families.
• Support developmental outcomes and discharge planning.
• Positioning, developmental care, and feeding readiness support.
• Document care and participate in care planning.
