Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse for neonatal/pediatric transport. The role collaborates with high-risk OB teams for maternal transports and supports ground and air transports of critically ill neonates, pediatrics, and mothers, guided by PCGs and clinical assessment.

Responsibilities include equipment management, patient care documentation, and participation in education and process improvement.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible by Missouri Board of Nursing.
• Credentialing includes BLS HCP, ALS, NRP, PALS and TNCC/ATCN or TPATC where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes transport and critical care equipment in a competent manner.
• Performs or assists with BLS/ALS skills during patient care including IV/airway management.
• Assesses patient status and plans nursing care; communicates with medical control as needed.
• Maintains thorough patient care documentation per department standards.
• Supports education and process improvement initiatives and team training.
