Job summary

CHKD Health System is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapies across NICU, PICU, ED, and general care areas. The role requires current RRT credentials and pediatric-specific certifications, with sign-on incentives available.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and adjust respiratory care plan.
• Administer tests and interpret results to evaluate therapy responses.
• Assist with procedures such as endotracheal intubation and bronchoscopy.
• Respond to emergencies including neonatal transfers and CPR activations.
• Maintain artificial airways and transport ventilated patients as needed.
• Document observations and modifications to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers about therapies and care.
