Job summary

Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, part of the Lutheran Health Network, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a Neonatology team in a busy 42-bed Level III NICU. The PA will provide care for high-acuity neonatal patients, attend high-risk deliveries, and work within a collaborative team of neonatologists and APPs.

The role offers a flexible 12-hour shift schedule, strong physician and APP support, and opportunities to develop advanced procedural skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide comprehensive neonatal care.
• Work closely with a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) program serving high-risk prenatal patients.
• Participate in ground neonatal transports as needed.
• Develop and maintain advanced procedural skills, including central line placement, airway and ventilator management, thoracentesis, and post-operative neonatal care.
