Job summary

Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant to join the Neonatal and Newborn Nursery team caring for high-risk newborns. The team currently includes 7 Neonatologists and 8 APPs, with 24/7 coverage across NICU units.

The candidate should have MS(N) in Neonatal NP or ARC-PA certified PA, state APRN license or PA license, and at least 1 year of APP experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or related field.
• Current or pending state APRN license.
• Current or pending certification by a professional certifying body.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an APP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in admissions, daily rounding, discharges, procedures, and neonatal transports.
• Provide 24/7 coverage for NICU units (day/night shifts, occasional 24-hour shifts).
• Collaborate with in-house Neonatology team and NICU staff; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
