Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO seeks an Occupational Therapist for the Special Care Nursery with newborn evaluation and treatment responsibilities. Prior neonatal feeding experience is preferred and on-site work is required.

The role focuses on infants from 34 weeks and older, with caregiver education and collaborative care in a multidisciplinary environment. A bachelor's in OT is required; Colorado licensure and BLS are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's preferred.
• Current Colorado OT license to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider valid through start date + 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment for newborns in Special Care Nursery.
• Develop tailored intervention plans to promote daily living skills.
• Facilitate participation and teaching of caregivers for home care.
• Educate patients and families on safety and adaptive equipment.
