Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a per diem position at Lake Mary Hospital in Central Florida, part of the Orlando Health system. You will join a dedicated team and participate in caring for newborns in a Level II NICU, projected to have 5-6 patients by year end.

This role requires an APRN national certification, master's degree, and a valid Florida license along with recent NNP experience. A competitive compensation package with extensive benefits is available for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification required.
• Master’s degree required.
• Must have a valid FL license.
• Recent experience as a Certified NNP is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Join the team at Lake Mary Hospital as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes.
• Support the neonatal care team.

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family.

• Hospital opening date in early 2025
• Annual projected deliveries of 1,000 with an ADC in the newborn nursery of 6-7
• Level II NICU projected ADC of 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage
• Team of neonatologists, NNPs and Pediatric Hospitalist
• Neonatologist onsite 8 hours daily and will take call from home
• Must be within a 30 minute on-call response radius
• NNP schedule of 12 and 24-hour shifts
• Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU located at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level-IV NICU

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• FL license required
• Certified NNP with recent experience required
