Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a high-acuity Level III/IV NICU in Aurora, CO. The role involves caring for premature and critically ill newborns, collaborating with neonatologists, and delivering advanced neonatal assessments and treatments.

The position offers 12-hour day/night shifts, 0.9 FTE, permanent full-time status, and a compensation package that includes an annual salary range plus a $20,000 bonus and relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NNP or PA program.
• Active or eligible Colorado RN/APRN license for NNPs or PA license for PAs.
• National board certification: NNP-BC or PA-C.
• NRP certification required.
• AHA BLS/CPR required.
• PALS preferred.
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-acuity Level III/IV NICU team providing advanced care to premature and critically ill newborns.
• Manage complex neonatal cases in collaboration with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform comprehensive neonatal assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including advanced ventilation and critical care management.
• Provide procedures and family-centered care within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements
