Responsibilities include conducting examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing therapies, and leading care coordination while adhering to Mercy safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents physical and psychosocial examinations.
• Manages diagnostic tests through ordering, performing, interpreting, and supervising in the assessment process.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic interventions in collaboration with the supervising physician.
• Assists with plan of care evaluation and modification to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicates care plans and transitions of care to team members.
