Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its NICU team, providing advanced practice care within a Level IV neonatal setting. The NP will function as an expert practitioner, consultant, educator, patient advocate, care coordinator and researcher under supervision of a CCS-paneled Neonatologist.

• Masters Degree Nursing is required.
• Program graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• BLS, RN, NP, NRP, NP-C or NCC credentials required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert practitioner, consultant, educator, patient advocate, care coordinator and researcher.
• Provide care under supervision of CCS paneled Neonatologist following standardized procedures.
• Apply regulatory policies and contribute to professional nursing practice within the Neonatal NICU.
