Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center Neonatology seeks an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative team in a Level II NICU, with duties in the well-baby nursery and delivery room.

Credentialing follows a structured orientation; the NNP will work independently and with attending physicians to deliver high-quality newborn care, with overnight backup neonatology for consultation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program.
• National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
• Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNP licensure (or eligible).
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• BLS and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in an inpatient setting.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
