Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Level II NICU team. This 0.90 FTE, day shift role combines inpatient neonatal critical care with duties in the well-baby nursery and delivery room.

You will work with attending physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care to critically ill newborns after orientation, credentialing, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program.
• National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
• Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNP licensure (or eligible).
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality specialty care to critically ill and newborn patients in a Level II NICU.
• Credential and work independently and with attending physicians and the healthcare team.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice.
• Collaborate in the well-baby nursery and delivery room as needed.
