Job summary

Advocate Health in Green Bay, WI seeks a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across age groups in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will assess, diagnose, order and interpret tests, develop management plans, promote prevention, document in the EMR, and participate in quality and education initiatives while maintaining high standards of safety and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served
• Active DEA registration prior to hire
• Illinois license if practicing in IL
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and manages treatment plans appropriate for age and clinical condition.
• Orders, performs, interprets diagnostic studies and prescribes pharmacologic/non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team; consults physicians when needed and escalating emergent care.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation; codes and bills in compliance.
• Participates in quality, safety, peer review, and education initiatives; ensures timely patient care.
