Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise is seeking a Full Time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our employed NICU team alongside three Neonatologists and six NNPs.

Our 32-bed Level III NICU provides high-level care for 250+ infants annually, with iNO and advanced ventilation. We offer collaborative rounds, teaching opportunities, and strong family-centered care in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a NP program with RN and APRN licensure.
• Current national board certification as NNP is desired.
• Alternatively, PA-C with neonatal fellowship/residency or 3+ years in Level III/IV NICU and PA-C licensure.
• Current Idaho DEA and medical licensure with privileges at SARMC – Boise and SAMC – Nampa.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, teamwork and transformational care.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and facilitate NICU admissions.
• Co-manage NICU patients with the attending Neonatologist and site-dependent well newborn nursery patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with the Neonatologist in the NICU and update families.
