Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group has a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity at Christus St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, TX.

The NICU offers Level-III with 8 beds; NNPs provide 24-hour in-house coverage and care for preemies and term babies needing ventilation and cooling.

Requirements include APRN certification, MSN, TX license or IMLC, and recent NNP experience; travel and malpractice coverage are provided for certain arrangements.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree and 1 year post-grad clinical experience required.
• TX license or active IMLC preferred.
• Certified NNP with recent experience required.

Responsibilities

• NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage in a Level-III NICU.
• Care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.
