Job summary

CHI is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Women’s Health Division in Omaha, NE, covering Level II/III NICUs across multiple campuses. You’ll provide comprehensive care to high-risk infants and their families, perform exams, participate in rounds, and educate families.

This full-time role offers an hourly salary with shift differentials, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is required.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska.
• BLS, PALS and NRP certifications are required.
• Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care in a NICU inpatient setting and perform histories and physicals.
• Initiate labs, imaging and other tests, and credentialed procedures as needed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, participate in rounds, and educate families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other staff, and refer to specialists as appropriate.
• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
