Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Brandon NICU team. You will deliver expert, evidence-based care to acutely ill newborns in a Level IV NICU, under physician supervision, and lead advanced neonatal procedures in a high-acuity setting.

The role emphasizes family-centered care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to education for residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Current RN and NP licensure in Michigan
NNP-BC certification
Graduate of accredited NP program
AHA BLS
NRP certification
DEA license
At least 1 year NICU experience
Proficiency in advanced neonatal procedures and diagnostics

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for acutely ill neonates under physician supervision
Order and interpret diagnostics; prescribe meds; present findings
Coordinate neonatal transport and lead retrieval teams
Attend high-risk deliveries; lead neonatal resuscitation
Coordinate care across teams and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation
Provide consults to internal/external providers
Support education of residents and quality improvement
Participate in palliative care and other duties
