Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, Illinois, seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a Level III NICU. You will provide advanced care for critically ill newborns alongside neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires NNp-BC certification, active APRN license, and DEA license or eligibility, with BLS and NRP certifications preferred. Rotating day/night/weekend/holiday coverage and EPIC EMR are in use.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Neonatal NP program.
• National NNp-BC certification and active APRN license.
• DEA license or eligibility; BLS and NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, evidence-based care for critically ill and premature newborns in a NICU.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, subspecialists, nurses, and therapists.
• Participate in rotating day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
