Job summary

UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Level 2 specialty care nursery within the Women's Center. The APP will provide high-quality care, educate families, and participate in leadership and quality initiatives.

The position requires completion of an APRN/PA program, NC licensure, and board certification as applicable, with DEA as appropriate. It is a full-time onsite role with benefits and state-of-NC practice authority.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA program completion required.
• North Carolina APN/PA licensure required.
• Board certification may be required by the department; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams; develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up.
• Provide leadership, teach staff, and participate in rounds.
• Promote quality improvement and lead projects.
• Document accurately in the medical record and ensure billing compliance.
