Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to support the Level II NICU and newborn nursery at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, Indiana. The role emphasizes independent practice, advanced NICU skills, and family-centered care.

The NNP will join a multidisciplinary team with comprehensive neonatal services and lactation support, ensuring high-quality care for newborns and families in a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Level II NICU experience preferred.
• Experience with delivery attendance and initial stabilization, including procedures (intubation, umbilical line placement, vent management, circumcisions, frenectomies)
• Must be able to care for Level-II newborns with stabilization for transfer
• Hard-working, able to practice independently, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care in Level II NICU and newborn nursery.
• Collaborate with NICU staff to stabilize and transfer patients as needed.
• Engage with families and support lactation and newborn care protocols.
