Job summary

Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help lead our nationally recognized team in Indianapolis. This position will primarily support the Level III NICU at Community Health Network Westfield.

The role involves attending high-risk deliveries, developing care plans for critically ill newborns, performing neonatal procedures, and delivering family-centered care, with 24-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• NNP or PA-Neonatal certification required.
• Open to internal and external candidates.
• APP experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• NICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries.
• Develop and manage care plans for critically ill newborns.
• Perform procedures including intubations, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement, lumbar punctures, and thoracentesis.
• Deliver patient- and family- centered care.
• Participation in quality, safety and educational initiatives.
• 24-hr shifts with in-house Neo coverage.
