Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team across Level III and Level IV NICUs in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Responsibilities include attending deliveries, leading neonatal care, and providing telemedicine resuscitation for Level I nurseries, with flexible scheduling to balance nights, weekends, and holidays. Dual licensure in Oregon and Washington is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state as required.
• National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required.
• Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NNP-PP) required.
• ECMO certification course preferred.
• NRP certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Neonatologists and subspecialists to guide care for high-risk neonates and infants across the NICU continuum.
• Support nursing staff on the unit and through formal education opportunities to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Attend deliveries in person and provide telehealth resuscitation support for Level I sites to ensure consistent newborn care.
• Assist in discharge planning to enable families to care for high-risk infants after NICU discharge.
