Job summary

UNC Health Rex Holly Springs Hospital is seeking a Neonatal/NICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery. The role collaborates with NNPS, PAs, RTs, and the care team, delivering evidence-based, family-centered care.

Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, assessing neonates, supporting families, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position is onsite in Holly Springs, NC with a 36-hour week and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years and obtain a Bachelor's degree within seven years.
• Licensed RN in North Carolina and BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries as part of the neonatal resuscitation team.
• Provide assessment and care for neonates in Level II Special Care Nursery.
• Communicate findings promptly to the neonatal care team and coordinate with providers.
• Educate and support families, maintain documentation in the EMR.
• Assist with neonatal procedures, medications, and discharge planning.
