Job summary

Pscfl is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the NICU team in Town of Florida, NY. You will deliver professional nursing care under physician plans, assess patients, administer medications, and support family-centered care in a Magnet-designated hospital environment.

You will coordinate care with the clinical team, document in the EHR, and participate in rounds to ensure high-quality, safe care across all shifts. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN Licensure in Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC) in good standing.
• BLS certification (AHA) in good standing throughout employment.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire.
• NRP and ACLS as required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments including head-to-toe evaluations and vital signs.
• Complete discharge planning per hospital policy.
• Communicate patient progress and changes with physicians and care team.
• Plan and document care collaboratively with多 disciplines to ensure safe care.
• Provide IV monitoring, specimen collection, and assist with procedures.
• Administer and reconstitute medications per six rights of administration.
• Participate in daily care planning rounds with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record per policy.
• Educate patients and families on disease, home care, and safety.
