As a NICU RN, you will provide critical care to sick and premature infants, support parents, and assist the care team round‑the‑clock.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
• Change dressings and insert catheters as needed.

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years of acute‑care experience.
• Certification(s): BLS, NRP, NIH.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift 10–20 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to manage hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Other Requirements

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
