Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is sourcing an RN NICU for a 13-week travel contract in Park Ridge, IL. Shift is 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with a 3x/week schedule and every other weekend rotation.

The position involves a magnet-designated Level III NICU in a teaching hospital with 180 beds, travel between Park Ridge and Oak Lawn campuses, and a focus on premature and unstable newborn care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of RN NICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active BLS and NRP certification required
• Active IL RN license is mandatory
• Experience with SERVO/HFOV vents, traches, chest tubes, iNO, lines, drips, NG/G-tube and enteral feeds

RN – NICU (Travel Contract) — Park Ridge, IL

Job Type: Travel Contract, 13 Weeks

Shift: 12-Hr Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x/week (Every Other Weekend Rotation)

Pay: Up to $2,550/week (Blended Rate: $70.80/hr) | W2 Rate: $16/hr + $1,974/week Non-Taxable Stipend

About the Facility:

Join a Magnet-designated, Level III NICU at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital (180 beds total, 54 in the unit) in Park Ridge, IL. This is a bi-campus float position — must be willing to travel between Park Ridge and Oak Lawn locations.

Premature infants and unstable newborns requiring medical and surgical care. RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. No CNAs on the unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of RN NICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Active BLS and NRP certification
• Active IL RN license
• Experience with SERVO/HFOV vents, traches, chest tubes, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), umbilical/arterial lines, drips, NG/G-tube and enteral feeds

Unit Support:

• RT and Neonatologist on-site 24/7
• Charge Nurse free-floating
• EPIC, Pyxis, Alaris, Phillips monitors
• Scrubs provided on-unit for infection control
