Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking a registered nurse for a typically 12-week assignment. You will lead nursing care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Standards of Practice, delegating and guiding licensed and support staff and accounting for quality outcomes.

Educational requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program; a BSN is preferred. At least 1 year RN experience and an active RN license with BLS are required.

Formación

• RN license in state of practice required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Experience in delivering patient care and applying nursing process

Responsabilidades

• Use the nursing process to deliver patient care
• Assess learning needs and provide appropriate teaching
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources
• Use data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes
• Support patient satisfaction and staff morale while upholding nursing standards
• Adapt care to diverse patient populations and obtain permissions as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
