Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following established standards and the nursing process.

You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, participate in discharge planning for continuity of care, and apply critical thinking and independent judgment to promote safety and quality in a Magnet-designated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; NRP certification required per AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care according to standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
