Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group, following established standards and the nursing process. You will supervise assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while using critical thinking and independent judgment.

Education/ Licenses: CA RN license required; BLS/CPR required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred; BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CA RN licensure required

• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
• BSN degree preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Develops and implements a plan to promote health and safety and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare team to ensure safe, humane care.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
