Qualified candidates have NICU experience, a 2-year Respiratory Care program, CA RCP license, NRP, RRT and BLS, with on-call responsibilities and a shared Anaheim/Irvine

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of NICU experience within the past 12 months.
• Graduate of an approved 2-year Respiratory Care program (RCAB/CoARC).
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner license; NRP; RRT; BLS.

Aufgaben

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates respiratory therapy care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients.
• Participates in patient care rounds as part of the critical care team.
• Evaluates data from respiratory monitoring devices and documents responses to therapies.
• Performs respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Obtains arterial blood samples and reports critical values to the care team.
• Provides ventilatory support during patient transfers and responds to emergencies.
• Maintains infection control and patient safety practices and proper documentation.
