MEDICAL CITY DALLAS is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the night shift, offering a $30k sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, providing direct patient care, and supervising non-licensed staff.

Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• ADN / BSN is required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
• Must have one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
