Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Neonatal ICU Nurse Practitioner to join our hospital-based team. The NP will perform histories, examinations, make diagnoses, institute therapy, and coordinate patient care under the supervising physician.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, emergency care, arranging admissions and discharges, and hospital rounds as needed. Requires MSN, 2 years CVICU experience, and current RN and NP licenses with NICU certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years’ related experience required.
• CVICU Nurse Practitioners require 2 years of ECMO experience.

Responsibilities

• Take histories and perform comprehensive physical exams.
• Review patient records to develop medical status reports.
• Institute therapy and drug therapy as directed by physicians.
• Initiate emergency measures and arrange admissions/discharges as directed.
• Perform hospital rounds when needed and provide patient care guidance.
