Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care following the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes in a compassionate environment.

The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care, holds an RN license, and can perform assessments, administer meds, and educate patients and families. Evening/night shifts are included with standard hospital benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in state or compact for practice.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Provide age-appropriate care and education based on growth and development.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/Code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and use equipment safely.
• Maintain safety, audits, and compliance with standards.
