Job summary

Seattle Children's NICU Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) deliver high-level neonatal care across Level II–IV units in the region. APPs manage complex acute and chronic neonatal conditions, working with a suite of specialists to guide care decisions in a collaborative environment.

As part of a nationally recognized Neonatal Intensive Care Team, APPs participate in education, research, and quality initiatives while supporting family-centered care across multiple sites in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• Master's in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with current NNP Certification.
• For PA applicants: graduate of a nationally accredited PA program with PA-C Certification.
• Licensure in Washington state or eligibility for ARNP/PA-C credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for neonates.
• Manage critically ill neonates across varying levels of acuity in the NICU network.
• Perform advanced, life-saving neonatal procedures and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, fellows, nursing teams, respiratory therapists, and subspecialists across regional NICUs.
