Job summary

Penrose - St. Francis Health Services in Colorado Springs seeks a Neonatal Manager Flight Operations to lead clinical teams in an aeromedical transport program.

You will drive education, budget oversight, and policy implementation to ensure operational excellence and patient safety across bases. You will oversee curricula, quality metrics, and performance indicators, while guiding staff development, clinical orientation, and multidisciplinary collaboration within an aviation medical services

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum active flight/ground transport experience; involvement on local, regional or national levels of medical transport associations
• CMTE required within 3 years of hire/transfer date
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing; RN license
• Certified Flight RN; must maintain currency in CAMTS certifications
• Experience in a leadership role

Responsibilities

• Oversees continuing education program with Clinical Leadership Team and coordinates validations of clinical competencies
• Designs and monitors quality and performance indicators, including data collection tools and processes
• Assists Program Director in staffing needs, interviewing and hiring
• Designs, implements and evaluates continuing education of staff
• Chairs the Clinical Leadership Team and coordinates action plans with Medical Director
• Maintains constructive relationships with staff members
