Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform comprehensive respiratory care for adults and neonates, including newborns in Labor and Delivery. The role includes blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient-family education.

The ideal candidate will have neonatal respiratory care experience, current NBRC credentials (RRT) and BCLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, and be able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in neonatal respiratory care and adult/neonatal patient education.
• Ability to perform blood gas analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and respiratory care procedures for adults and newborns.
• Maintains and manages equipment and provides education to patients and families in both adult and neonatal areas.
