Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking neonatal APPs to join a collaborative team caring for babies in Level III and IV NICUs across our St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses and partner sites.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years NICU experience in a Level III setting preferred.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Neonatal program.
  • Board certification in a neonatal specialty (or eligible).
  • NRP Certification required.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neonatal care in Level III/IV NICUs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other APPs.
  • Participate in neonatal transport and interfacility transfers.
  • Contribute to family-centered care and education.

The Department of Neonatology at Children’s Minnesota has been an established program for over 30+ years and inclusive of over 90+ NNP, PNP and PA’s.

The successful candidate will have expertise to provide neonatal care rotating in the Level III and Level IV NICUs in our St. Paul and Minneapolis Hospitals and partner neonatal programs at community sites (Level II-III) at Ridgeview Medical Center, St. Francis Regional Medical Center and Mercy Hospital (Level III-IV). With nearly 200 neonatal beds in our neonatal units, we care for over 3,000 babies every year, with an active neonatal transport program that provides both air and ground transport to over 500 babies annually. What We’re Looking For:

Experienced APP or we welcome new graduate students.

  • At least 2 years NICU experience in a LIII setting preferred
  • Successful completion of an accreditedprogram
  • Board certified in specialty (or eligible)
  • NRP Certification
  • Current BLS
