Job summary

Children’s Minnesota in the Twin Cities area is seeking experienced neonatal APPs to join our long-standing NICU team. You will rotate across Level III/IV NICUs and collaborate with a large group of NNPs, PNPs, and PAs to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for critically ill newborns.

Qualifications

  • NICU experience in Level III/IV NICUs preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited NICU APP program.
  • Board certification in their specialty or eligibility.
  • NRP Certification and current BLS required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neonatal care rotating in Level III/IV NICUs.
  • Collaborate with a large team of NNPs, PNPs, and PAs.
  • Support the neonatal transport program and related outreach.

The successful candidate will have expertise to provide neonatal care rotating in the Level III and Level IV NICUs in our St. Paul and Minneapolis Hospitals and partner neonatal programs at community sites (Level II-III) at Ridgeview Medical Center, St. Francis Regional Medical Center and Mercy Hospital (Level III-IV). With nearly 200 neonatal beds in our neonatal units, we care for over 3,000 babies every year, with an active neonatal transport program that provides both air and ground transport to over 500 babies annually. What We’re Looking For:
Experienced APP or we welcome new graduate students.
  • At least 2 years NICU experience in a LIII setting preferred
  • Successful completion of an accreditedprogram
  • Board certified in specialty (or eligible)
  • NRP Certification
  • Current BLS
