Michigan Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional to join the Brandon NICU, delivering evidence‑based newborn care in a Level IV NICU. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, family‑centered care and to support education for residents and students.

Hybrid work options are available; the role emphasizes education, innovation, and excellence in neonatal care within the Children’s and Women’s Hospital network.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN and NP licensure with NNP-BC certification.
• PA licensure in Michigan and NCCPA certification.
• DEA license and BLS/NRP certifications required.
• Experience in NICU critical care and neonatal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care under physician supervision in NICU settings.
• Order/interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications, present findings to team.
• Coordinate neonatal transport and lead retrieval teams as assigned.
• Attend high‑risk deliveries and lead resuscitation efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient status accurately and timely.
• Provide consults and support for newborn care teams and education for residents.
• Support quality improvement, innovation and new technologies.
• Participate in palliative care and other duties as assigned.
